What You’ll Do

Job Overview:
As an Environmental Equipment Quality Specialist, you will play a critical role in preparing, maintaining, and inspecting specialized environmental monitoring equipment for rental and deployment. This position focuses on technical handling, equipment readiness, detailed inspections, surface preparation, and ensuring that all instruments meet high standards before leaving the facility.
You will also support general warehouse operations, including order fulfillment and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and fulfill client equipment rental orders, including manual picking and retrieval using ladders and warehouse equipment.
  • Perform detailed inspections, surface preparation, and operational checks on environmental monitoring instruments.
  • Prepare and package instruments in professional-grade condition, ensuring compliance with internal quality standards.
  • Maintain warehouse organization and ensure all instruments are deployment-ready.
  • Accurately complete documentation for shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory tracking.
  • Uphold MAXIM’s quality control procedures for all equipment returned from rental or outgoing orders.
  • Contribute to a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Deliver consistent, professional customer service to clients when needed.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • High degree of self-discipline, responsibility, and teamwork.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
  • Ability to work at varying heights (ladders) and perform frequent physical movements such as bending and reaching.
  • Foundational math and writing skills.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in warehousing, quality control, logistics, equipment maintenance, or related fields preferred.
  • Valid G Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
